2023:  the year God’s children will declare victory in the face of our enemies!

Welcome and thank you for joining me today!  It’s a great day to be alive!  God is Absolutely Good and Jesus is Lord MOST HIGH!

Recently while listening to teaching in Daniel, the Lord put this on my heart to share with you.  As we walk through uncertain times hearing the roar of deceptive lies and watching our freedoms being attacked, we feel the oppression of the enemy upon us.

Daniel 7:25 addresses exactly what we are walking through today: (KJV in reference to Daniel’s interpretation of his dream about the four beasts.)  “And he shall speak great words against the Most-High and shall wear out the saints of the Most-High and think to change times and laws….”

Are we not witnessing messages vilifying God daily before our eyes and ears?  Yes, and that is exactly the plan of the enemy to wear our minds and hearts out with oppressive messages so we will capitulate and stay silent.

If we focus on the words of the enemy, we are defeated.

The Lord is forever reminding me: “Your words are powerful and eternal.  You, my child, are equipped with the Words of the Most High that never change and do not condemn the righteous, so use them!”

Later while I was out running errands, I kept contemplating the Daniel scripture.  Over and over I heard the Lord remind me of Paul’s message to the Ephesians on the equipping of the saints.  To me, this is a message of power, love, and how to build a sound mind in challenging times.

Eph 4:7 “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Eph 4:11 “he gave some apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and some teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

Eph 4: 14-15 “That we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. But speaking the truth in love may grow up unto him in all things…”

God kept reminding me that every one of us has these five gifts in us and that we are responsible for becoming equipped to use them at any place or time.

Do we all need to be in full-time ministry?  No, but we need to embrace the assignments on our lives to boldly proclaim the truth of God’s Word.   Based on my life experience I see all five gifts operating at some time at some level in every person willing to boldly acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Using your words as an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, or Teacher begins right in your own household as you take authority over your territory and speak the Word of God out into the atmosphere.

By continually countering the lies of the enemy by speaking the Truth of God’s Word into the atmosphere you are developing and strengthening your Spirit. Once strengthened you will immediately recognize and withstand any temptation to be tossed by every “wind of doctrine by the sleight of men, cunning craftiness, whereby they lie to deceive.”

Every day in some way one or all of these gifts may be required to be activated.   And, as disciples of Christ equipped with the authority of the Word of God, we are well able to be prepared to rightly divide the truth and master every situation.

Apostle:  the sent one, first planted and commissioned to preach – officers commissioned to a new province to see that the laws are observed.

Prophet:  one that foretells future events – illuminated, inspired, or instructed by God to announce future events

Evangelist:  a preacher or publisher of the gospel

Pastor:  as shepherd: one that takes care of flocks and herds

Teacher:   an instructor or tutor

Ask the Lord to fortify these five gifts he has placed in you and rest in knowing according to Philippians 1:6 NLT “I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Remember to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and remain stable and fixed in the Shadow of the Almighty! Psalm 91.
